How It Works
The conveying mechanism is based on continuous bucket movement attached to a traction element.
1. Loading: Material is fed into the boot section (bottom) of the elevator. Buckets scoop or are filled by gravity with the material.
2. Ascending: The traction element (belt or chain) carries the loaded buckets vertically upward.
3. Discharging: Depending on the material characteristics, the buckets discharge the material via centrifugal force, continuous flow, or gravity into the discharge chute.
4. Returning: Empty buckets return to the boot section via the return leg to repeat the cycle.
